What is a business expo? Our business expo includes many small business owners and self-employed professionals displaying their products and services at booths. They may have a banner, business cards, brochures, swag and other items and they greet guests as they walk around the room.
Who are the guests? GTApreneurs’ Business Expo guests are also small business owners and self-employed professionals who are looking to gain new clients and referral partners and promote their businesses. They walk around the expo to meet the exhibitors and learn about their businesses, while also introducing themself and their business.
GTApreneurs BizX 2026 event also includes a 2026 business conference, which features several Speakers who are experts in helping businesses grow. BizX conference guests can enjoy a free continental breakfast, lunch and the expo with their VIP ticket. This premium business expo and conference only comes around once a year. Join us to take part in a unique experience to gain practical knowledge from Industry Experts and meet hundreds of potential clients and referral partners.

Having your banner visible throughout the tradeshow at your vendor table and your logo and information displayed on our slide reel throughout the morning networking and afternoon portions of the event are great ways to get known in the GTA business community. Most of our event exhibitors and guests, including you, are entrepreneurs or small business owners who offer services, however some offer products. All are welcome. These are the industries that are typically represented at our BizX events:
*Both ticket types include a totebag, Event Guide with the BizX 2026 Expo Contest Map and other items.
*You must bring business cards to participate in the contest and raffle and you must be present during the Awards Ceremony to be eligible to win.
The reason is exhibitors donate the prizes for the contest and raffle and they want to be able to follow-up with you.
Bring 200-300 business cards to share.

*Door Prize Raffle: You must have a BUSINESS CARD to insert into our raffle box to be entered into our Door Prize Raffle.
BizX 2026 Expo Contest: Walk around and talk to each exhibitor and exchange contact information. Each exhibitor you talk to and exchange contact information with will put a special event sticker on the BizX 2026 Expo Map in your event guide. If you visit every exhibitor and get a sticker from each one of them, you will win a prize! If you don’t have a business card, you can exchange information via connecting on LinkedIn, a virtual business card or other method the exhibitor feels is adequate.
*Note: If you win a BizX 2026 Expo Contest prize, you cannot win a door prize.
Tammy Defoe is the President of GTApreneurs Inc. She founded GTApreneurs in 2019 and has grow it into a community of many hundreds of motivated and engaged small business owners, self-employed professionals and entrepreneurs.
By profession, Tammy is a Business Consultant and Coach; Sales, Public Speaking, and Digital Marketing Trainer, and Public Speaker. To date Tammy has hosted or co-hosted over 200 GTApreneurs business networking events.
